The Lincoln Head and Neck Warriors
are a group of people at various points
in their journey with Oral, Head and Neck cancer.
We meet monthly to share our experiences
and to learn from each other.
We sometimes learn
from Healthcare providers
and experts in related fields.
We sometimes discuss
what we have each learned
through our cancer journeys.
We have a collective experience
that involves years of learning
and we might be able to provide information
to others with a similar diagnosis.
Today we fight
Tomorrow we fight
The day after .... we fight
And if this disease plans on whipping us,
it better bring lunch,
'cause it's gonna have a long day doing it.

Future Meetings will usually be held
on the Second Tuesday of each Month
Meetings are held at either
the Piedmont Church on 48th and A St
Or
the offices of Balance and Mobility of Lincoln
on 40th and O street
Or
Someplace else ....If there is a cool opportunity
Most meetings will be held from 5pm to 6:30pm.
Any changes to meetings times or places
will be communicated
as soon as they are known.

At the Most Recent Meeting
February 13th
At the Piedmont Church on 48th and A St
There were 8 people present.
The group discussed several aspects of Keytruda treatments.
Multiple members of the group have had
Immunotherapy treaments (including Keytruda)
and shared their experiences and understanding of the treatments.
The group then had a discussion about the information on the Webpage.
Several good suggestions were made
and will be incorporated into the Web page
by a team of highly skilled professionals
(or an old guy in his basement)
in the near future.
April is Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Month.
In 2022 members of this group participated in
a Free Oral Cancer Screening Clinic.
The group discussed working with several area groups
on a similar event at the end of April (exact date forthcoming).
Our group can help by "spreading the word "
and providing assistance the day of the event.
More details will be announced as they are determined.

There will be a drawing for a $1 million dollar cash prize.....
